Today was an all history day for working on Civil War games. Students will return to their regular classrooms tomorrow. In English we will be discussing the authenticity of the picture of slavery we get from UTC.

We discussed industrialism by reading excerpts from The Jungle and comparing them to Uncle Tom's Cabin. We then read the first half of "Life in the Iron Mills" (page 20 of the Threads of Change booklet)for persuasive technique.
